Ironclad Spaceship

I was playing with the particle emitter in my software and perked it up with a quick ironclad spaceship.

Random Monsters

A silly joke for fans of RPG games and a personal experiment for what I could get done in 20 minutes (not counting render time, which was brief).

The blimp-shark and Tank-Rex were pre-existing models.  Tank-Rex created for a piece of art drawn for the Deviant Database 2.0.

Creature Art - 3D work and Illustration

Here's a piece of creature art I drew recently.

A Harvestman

The Harvestman is a creature drawn for an upcoming book “Deviant Database 2.0” by Tim Snider. Here’s some highlights from the author’s original description of the creature used to complete the piece:

“A Harvestman is a twisted, deformed humanoid with exceedingly long arms and legs. The Harvestman's head and joints bend in impossible directions, and the creature scuttles around on all fours…
…A Harvestman attacks with its long (10' long) barbed tongue, which lashes out to cut and maim a victim…
..it ties together scraps of vines, ropes, and cables into web-like structures that criss-cross through its lair. It will use these "webs" to travel quickly through the area..”

The published version will be in black and white/grayscale; the color version posted here is a 150 dpi version of my working copy. I did initial model work on the creature in Poser. The tongue and wall elements were drawn in Adobe Illustrator and the pieces were put together and rendered in Carrara before going back to Adobe Illustrator for editing and a tiny bit of Photoshop work followed.

A Game Map

A map I drew to go along with my gaming blog to illustrate multiple game concepts that I've used in a few posts and am sure to use in a few more.
This map was done using the popular online game map design tool Hexographer and dressed up in Photoshop.
